Rushford Days 2012 will soon be here. Volunteers have been working hard over the last year to make this year’s celebration even better than before. A few more new events are being planned for this year and will be announced as they are finalized. We will also have everyone’s favorite events from the past. Please watch for posters and check our website regularly for the most up to date details on Rushford Days 2012.
Many people realize how much time and effort goes into planning the celebration each year, others may not. Our committee is ALWAYS looking for new members with fresh, new ideas. We meet monthly throughout the year on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Stumpy’s basement. During the months of May and June we usually meet twice a month. Please join us if you are willing to have fun and help. Contact a current member for more details.
Anytime a celebration is planned, finances also become a part of the equation. Any profits the celebration committee makes each year is given back to the community in ways such as donations to the local Fire Department, school organizations and churches. By purchasing a Rushford Days button for $10, whether attending events that require a button or not, helps support the celebration each year. Local businesses also contribute monetarily to the celebration—please support and thank them for their donations.

The Rushford Days Committee needs YOU! The committee would like to hold an open talent show for all interested people: solos, ensembles, choirs, comedy, drama. Acts will perform Sunday, July 22nd, in the fest tent, downtown Rushford, noon to 5pm. Each act will be limited to 30-minutes stage time or less, dependent upon your act.
